The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, popularly known as IBPS, is an autonomous body set up to evolve and implement world class processes of assessment and selection of personnel of various clients organisations in the BFSI( Banking, Financial Services & Insurance sector).
IBPS, an examination conducting & assessment agency provides its service to all Public Sector Banks (PSU Banks) like SBI, RBI, NABARD, SIDBI, few Cooperative Banks, LIC & Insurance Companies which are regular members of the IBPS society. Last year IBPS announced total 7883 vacancies for the post of IBPS Clerk in participating banks. This year around 8000 vacancies are expected by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection for IBPS CWE Clerk-VIII 2018 Exam.
Candidates should check for eligibility criteria for the IBPS Clerk exam as announced on www.ibps.in An application which is complete as per IBPS eligibility will be entertained. The candidates applying for the exam must have a graduation degree from a college/university or institution recognized by the Government of India, or any equivalent examination recognized by the Central government.
Candidate's minimum age should be 20 years and maximum age should be 28 years. However, An applicant must have been born not earlier than 2nd September 1989 and not later than 1st September 1997 (both dates inclusive).
It is mandatory that candidates should have proof of being a citizen of India. A refugee from Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh will be allowed taking the examination when they have the permanent intention of settling in India.

The IBPS Clerk Recruitment Exam 2018 is divided into two parts: Preliminary and Main examination. The preliminary exam consists of English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. However, Main Examination is consist of General/ Financial Awareness, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, General English, and Quantitative Aptitude. 1. A Preliminary Exam: This exam will be the minimum qualifying criteria for the recruitment. The candidates will have to qualify all three subjects English Language, Numerical Ability & Reasoning Ability , section wise, and overall to be eligible for the main examination. After the exam is conducted, the candidates who qualify for the next level are shortlisted for Mains IBPS. The number of candidates that are selected depends on the vacancies announced by IBPS.
2. Main exam: The main exam will be conducted for all those qualifying the preliminary level. It will cover Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, Computer Knowledge & General Knowledge. IBPS conducts all these exams online.
3. Interview: Depending on the vacancies and requirements IBPS will shortlist and call final candidates for the interview. The interview will be conducted by the participating organizations and will also be co-ordinated by nodal banks in each state/union territory, under supervision of IBPS.
1.IBPS Clerk Admit Card 2018 Applicants will be able to download IBPS Clerk 2018 Admit Card from the official website www.ibps.in . IBPS Clerk Prelims Admit Card 2018 is issued about 2 weeks before examination which has to be carried during exams.
2.IBPS Clerk Cut off 2018 The Cut-Off marks for IBPS Clerk 2018 will be estimated and released as soon as the final result is declared. Each applicant is required to obtain minimum marks in each paper of Online Examination as well as minimum total marks will be considered for further procedure and based on State wise vacancies available, IBPS Clerk Cut-Off 2018 is decided and applicants considered for provisional allotment.
3.IBPS Clerk Result 2018 IBPS Clerk Prelims exam will be held on 8th, 9th, 15th, and 16th December 2018 and IBPS Clerk Prelims Result 2018 will be announced after 15 days of examination on the official website. After completing main-written examination in Jan 2019, the IBPS Clerk Mains Result 2017-18 is expected to be declared in February 2019. IBPS Clerk Result 2018 for mains examination will be announced on the official website. After completing the two stages, the selected candidate would be called for the stage III i.e. interview which will be followed by Stage IV i.e. Group Discussion and Interview, and the Final Result for IBPS Clerk 2018 will be declared in April 2018.
