The CWE PO/MT-VIII notification will be released to recruit eligible candidates for IBPS PO Post. Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection (IBPS) will release the official notification to recruit candidates for Probationary Officers (PO) and Management Trainee (MT) Posts in various Participating Banks. Candidate must be a graduate from recognized University or have an equivalent degree of Graduation (in any discipline) from the recognized University of the Indian government or any equivalent qualification which is recognized by the Central Government. Also candidates need minimum 60% marks in graduation (55% for SC/ST/PWD) along with a valid mark sheet of their graduation certificate/equivalent qualification certificate.
Candidates applying for IBPS PO Exam 2018, age should not be less than 20 years and more than 30 years. Candidates born between 2nd Aug 1988 to 1st Aug 1998 (inclusive both dates) may apply for the recruitment.

IBPS follows the pattern of two-level written examination, followed by an interview.
Prelims exam is the 1st level for candidates, which is conducted online. The IBPS PO Prelims exam consists of three sections - English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning. The total 100 questions will be asked in 60 minutes in the exam and each question will carry 1 mark. The 1/4 mark will be deducted as negative marking for each wrong answer. IBPS PO Prelims exam is qualifying in nature and its marks are not added in final score.

Mains exam is the 2nd level for candidates, which will be conducted online. The IBPS PO Mains exam consists of five sections - English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge. Total 155 questions with 200 marks will be asked in 3 hours in the exam. Negative marking of 1/4 mark will be deducted on each wrong answer.

ENGLISH: Cloze Test, Errors in sentences, Passage Comprehension, Sentence Improvement, Selecting The Correct Sentences.
COMPUTER: Basic of Computers, Basic internet knowledge and protocols, Network basics (LAN & WAN), Generations of computer, Input & Output Device, Shortcuts & Basic knowledge MS Word, MS Excel, MS power point, Computer Shortcuts etc.

The IBPS PO Cut-Off marks are the minimum marks which are required for qualifying the Probationary Officer examination.
