About IBPS

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, popularly known as IBPS, is an autonomous body set up to evolve and implement world class processes of assessment and selection of personnel of various clients organisations in the BFSI( Banking, Financial Services & Insurance sector).

IBPS as examination conducting & assessment agency provides its service to all Public Sector Banks (PSU Banks) like SBI, RBI, NABARD, SIDBI, few Cooperative Banks, LIC & Insurance Companies which are regular members of the IBPS society.

IBPS conducts various online and offline exams format in Objective (MCQ) and Subjective format. During 2016-17, total 1.51crore candidates registered for various IBPS Examinations. This indicates candidates are getting attracted towards job opportunities in Banking, Insurance & Financial sectors, and showing confidence in the system of Online Tests conducted by IBPS.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection usually releases IBPS PO Recruitment 2018 Notification in August through its website www.ibps.in for the process of Probationary Officer/Management Trainee (PO/MT) Exam. IBPS PO 2018 starts application form submission process after few days of notification release. Submission process of IBPS PO application form remains open for approximately one month for eligible candidates. According to certain updates, IBPS PO Prelims exam may be held in October and Mains exam in November 2018

IBPS PO 2018 Vacancy Details

The CWE PO/MT-VIII notification will be released to recruit eligible candidates for IBPS PO Post. Education Qualification: -

Candidate must be a graduate from recognized University or have an equivalent degree of Graduation (in any discipline) from the recognized University of the Indian government or any equivalent qualification which is recognized by the Central Government. Also candidates need minimum 60% marks in graduation (55% for SC/ST/PWD) along with a valid mark sheet of their graduation certificate/equivalent qualification certificate.

  1. a Citizen of India or
  2. a subject of Nepal or
  3. a subject of Bhutan or
  4. a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.

IBPS PO 2018 Age Limit

Candidates applying for IBPS PO Exam 2018, age should not be less than 20 years and more than 30 years. Candidates born between 2nd Aug 1988 to 1st Aug 1998 (inclusive both dates) may apply for the recruitment.

IBPS PO 2018 Exam Pattern

IBPS follows the pattern of two-level written examination, followed by an interview.

IBPS PO 2018 Prelims Exam Pattern: -

Prelims exam is the 1st level for candidates, which is conducted online. The IBPS PO Prelims exam consists of three sections - English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning. The total 100 questions will be asked in 60 minutes in the exam and each question will carry 1 mark. The 1/4 mark will be deducted as negative marking for each wrong answer. IBPS PO Prelims exam is qualifying in nature and its marks are not added in final score.

IBPS PO 2018 Mains Exam Pattern:

Mains exam is the 2nd level for candidates, which will be conducted online. The IBPS PO Mains exam consists of five sections - English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge. Total 155 questions with 200 marks will be asked in 3 hours in the exam. Negative marking of 1/4 mark will be deducted on each wrong answer.

Application form has to be complete as per IBPS requirement. 3.IBPS PO Result 2018
